Acne /’aknē/ Noun: the occurrence of inflamed or infected sebaceous glands in the skin; in particular, a condition characterized by red pimples on the face. That’s the simple definition, but acne really isn’t that simple. There are main different types of acne, more than you would think – twenty plus acne skin disorders that plague millions of people all over the world. Aside from acne scarring the main effects of acne are psychological; considering acne usually occurs in adolescences, which is a vulnerable time when most young individuals are socially insecure. While the best acne cure is a healthy diet regimen, including drinking plenty of water, along with a good daily cleaning of the skin with non-harsh chemicals, and the right amount of sleep to keep your body rejuvenated, there are plenty of products on the market to help you cure your acne.
